SEO: How To.... or How Not To? Black Hat SEO

Google has attacked strongly against Black Hat Search Engine Optimizations (SEO) lately, and latest "bust" has been J.C. Penney:

The company bested millions of sites — and not just in searches for dresses, bedding and area rugs. For months, it was consistently at or near the top in searches for “skinny jeans,” “home decor,” “comforter sets,” “furniture” and dozens of other words and phrases, from the blandly generic (“tablecloths”) to the strangely specific (“grommet top curtains”).

Finally black hat seo got some major attention, and pretty sure that this will scare some of the dirty competition away...

If your site got banned from Google. Make sure you use Webmaster's tools, as it has a page for a "Site reconsideration", in case you go wrong. Of course you need to fix your page to fit the rules.
